AM- Ran to Lindon Park for our morning run. We only had 6 guys today because some don't like running the day before or the day of a race. I don't think anything funny happened.

PM- Left at 5:00 to go to Westlake. Chilled for just a little and then put in a mile warm up. Drained my legs after that and did some other pre race stuff. Lined up and did four strides. The course was a little different than in the past but the Westlake coach explained it at the line. I started out fast and hit the mile at I think 5:09 with Jared and Riley. At the two mile mark Riley had gapped me and Jared and I think I was about 19th. Not sure of my second and third mile splits, I'll get those later as well as place. Finished with a 16:02 PR so I guess I have to change my goal to something faster. Shoutout to Jared for pushing me the whole race and outkicking me. Also shoutout to Ellie Bybee who caught my sunglasses when I threw them at her 2.3 miles in. It was a great race and I had fun talking to all the runners there. Mile cooldown after.
