Woke up early to get to the high school for Grass Relays. We got to Westlake and then ran the course. Jared, Brian, Riley, Ali and I had a lot of time to kill so we just hung out under the canopy and talked to some people. Jared and I warmed up a mile then he drained his legs then I did. It was weird warming up because we were all racing at different times. Hung out with AF mainly waiting for the race to start. Jared handed off to me in a good position. I started out way too fast because Davis wasn't that far ahead of me but I went to catch him which wasn't a good idea because after about 1.5 he passed me back. Ran a 10:49. I need to start slower. Fun race though and still not sure where we finished, my coach thinks around 12th. Cooled down a mile after the relay was over. It was good seeing everybody today. Update- Official time was 10:46 and we took 12th.
